Actual Size by Steve Jenkins

This week we started our measurement unit in math. We read the book Actual Size by Steve Jenkins which showed us some truly incredible animals that were extraordinarily large or small. The students worked together to measure out lengths of string the same size as the animals so we could so how big they were compared to ourselves. The animal string lengths are labeled and hanging in the hallway :)
