Hour of Code

This week, students participated in the Hour of Code. From December 8th - 14th, 2014, there is a huge effort for students across the world to be introduced to computer coding. During computer lab here at Georgia, the students played coding games where they learned to give the computer characters commands! They had a lot of fun!

Charlotte's Web

We had such a great time seeing Charlotte's Web at the Flynn Theater! The play had many similarities  and differences to the book that we discussed as a class, ask your student about it.πŸ˜„

The class is now even more excited to read the end of the book over the next week!

Check out what the set looked like!

Thank you 😊

Writing Celebration!

Our last day before Thanksgiving break was a busy one! We held our writing celebration to honor the student's hard work on their personal narratives. The students edited and revised their writing into final drafts, made covers and also author pages! The student's final pieces were amazing to listen to being read out loud :)
