Our class has been working hard in reader's workshop learning all about visualization.
The students were challenged to imagine mental images using all 5 senses. This was difficult in some cases and the students had to thoroughly read the text and have deep conversations with their partners. The students were visualizing beyond the book and past what was illustrated on the page. They made the stories come to life!
