Addition Facts

The students have been working hard to practice their fluency of their addition facts. Today in math, they rotated through different stations to play games that helped them fine tune those skills. You can help by quizzing your child at home to help them continue to build their understanding of their basic facts. Plus nine, eight, seven and six problems tend to be the trickiest!

Being Thankful

Today we completed our thankful pumpkins and read a Thanksgiving poem called Turkey Troubles, during our literacy time. The students did a very nice job reflecting on what they are thankful for!

This week are class is playing a game called doubles bump. We also played a game called doubles +1 bump. Also we played knock it off +9 this week. I hope we play it again soon!

Warmer Clothing!

As our days begin to get cooler, please remember to send in your child with appropriate outdoor clothing. This week is actually feeling like November!

Brady T's Blog Post - Number Corner

11 day's ago we started a time calendar. We added 30 minutes for 7 days, then we added 4 hours, then subtracted 30 minutes for 3 days. I predict that it will subtract 30 minutes for 7 days, then  subtract 4 hours.
